Colour Belt Festival within the Asian Championship 2026
On 29 November 2026, as part of the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship in Bishkek, the Colour Belt Festival will be held — a tournament for athletes from 10th to 1st gup.
The Festival is a chance to compete in the same arena as the strongest athletes of the continent, to gain international competition experience and to win medals and diplomas. The competition takes place at the “Zhashtyk Arena” sports complex with GTF Kalys electronic judging and online broadcasting from every competition area.
Age groups (by date of birth): 6–7 and 8–9, 10–11, 12–14, 15–17 and 18–37. Categories are formed by age, belt and weight; in the 6–7 age group, point-stop sparring is held as a demonstration of techniques, taking height and weight into account.
Each national organisation may enter up to six athletes in each category.

Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation
The overall management of the preparation and conduct of the competition is carried out by:
- the Global Taekwon-Do Federation GTF;
- the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation;
- the Taekwon-Do GTF Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- the Organising Committee approved by the President of GTF.
The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the Main Refereeing Panel approved by the President of GTF.
- By 20 October 2026 — preliminary entry of the approved form to [email protected].
- By 10 November 2026 — named entry through the gtf.global portal.
- Teams and athletes without a preliminary entry will not be admitted to the competition.
Admission by belt: 6–9 years — 10th gup and above; 10–11 years — 10th–5th gup; 12–14 and 15–17 years — 10th–3rd gup; 18–37 years — 10th–1st gup.
Required for admission:
- an entry form signed and stamped by the national Taekwon-Do GTF federation;
- an identity document of the athlete;
- a certificate of the national federation confirming technical qualification;
- life and health insurance against accidents for each participant.
Any change to the entry during the weigh-in costs 10 USD per athlete.
A single accreditation applies to all members of a delegation (athletes, coaches, referees, representatives and accompanying persons) — without it, admission to the competition is not granted.
The accreditation fee includes:
- accommodation in the recommended “standard” category hotels (double and triple rooms): The Plaza Hotel Bishkek, B Hotel, Park Hotel Bishkek;
- meals: breakfast and dinner on the competition days;
- transfer: meeting and seeing-off at Manas International Airport, daily transfer on the route “hotel – Zhashtyk Arena – hotel”;
- accreditation badge;
- organisational and information support for the delegation.
Fee: 85 USD per person per day (7 nights’ accommodation, breakfast and dinner, transfer, organisational fee).
Accreditation and booking must be completed by 20 October 2026. On the request of a delegation, a cultural and sightseeing programme in Bishkek and the surrounding area can be arranged.
- Arrival: Manas International Airport (FRU), about 30 km from the centre of Bishkek.
- Accredited participants are met and seen off at the airport.
- On the competition days, a daily transfer runs on the route “hotel – Zhashtyk Arena – hotel”.

Programme:
- 24 November — arrival day;
- 25 November — weigh-in and credentials committee (there is no weigh-in on the day of the competition);
- 29 November, 09:00–20:00 — Colour Belt Festival (all ages and disciplines);
- 30 November — departure day.
If fewer than three athletes are entered in a category, the organisers may merge weight and technical categories. Athletes compete in a full set of GTF equipment of the approved type. See the “Regulations” tab for details.
