Approved by the President of the Global Taekwon-Do Federation GTF (F. Beloso), the Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (U. Asanbaev) and the President of the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation (A. M. Kadyrov). Agreed by the President of the Taekwon-Do GTF Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic (A. M. Kadyrov).

I. General provisions

1.1. The goals and objectives of the competition are:

• to promote and develop Taekwon-Do GTF in Asia;
• to raise the skill level of the athletes;
• to strengthen international relations.

1.2. The competition is held in accordance with the Competition Rules and the Rules and Regulations for holding competitions approved by the International Union of Public Associations “Global Taekwon-Do Federation GTF”.

II. Rights and obligations of the organisers

1. Management of the preparation and conduct of the competition

1.1. The overall management of the preparation and conduct of the competition is carried out by:

• the International Union of Public Associations “Global Taekwon-Do Federation (GTF)” (hereinafter – GTF);
• the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation (hereinafter – AF GTF);
• the Public Association “Taekwon-Do GTF Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic” (hereinafter – TF GTF);
• the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• the Organising Committee approved by the President of GTF.

1.2. The direct conduct of the competition is entrusted to the Main Refereeing Panel (hereinafter – MRP) approved by the President of GTF.

1.3. The MRP is responsible for compliance with all provisions of these Rules and Regulations. It appoints the referees and monitors the quality of their work. It receives and takes into account critical comments from the heads of the sports organisations taking part in this competition.

1.4. All disciplines, with the exception of special technique and power breaking, are judged in real time using the “GTF Kalys” electronic judging system.

1.5. All competition areas (mats) are covered by real-time online video broadcasting.

2. Requirements for participants and conditions of admission

2.1. Athletes of national organisations developing Taekwon-Do GTF worldwide that are members of GTF are admitted to the competition.

2.2. The following are admitted to the Colour Belt Festival held within the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship and Junior Championship (by date of birth):

• boys and girls aged 6–7 and 8–9;
• boys and girls aged 10–11;
• boys and girls aged 12–14;
• junior men and junior women aged 15–17;
• men and women aged 18–37.

2.3. The technical qualification of the athletes must be:

• boys and girls (6–7 and 8–9 years) – 10th gup and above;
• boys and girls (10–11 years) – 10th–5th gup;
• boys and girls (12–14 years) – 10th–3rd gup;
• junior men and junior women (15–17 years) – 10th–3rd gup;
• men and women (18–37 years) – 10th–1st gup.

2.4. Athletes are admitted provided that the following are available:

• an entry form signed and stamped by the national Taekwon-Do GTF federation;
• an identity document of the athlete;
• medical insurance (against accidents or injuries related to training and Taekwon-Do tournaments);
• a certificate of the national federation confirming the technical qualification of the athlete.

2.5. To take part in the competition, an athlete must have equipment of the approved type (a full set is obligatory):

• Taekwon-Do GTF dobok;
• Taekwon-Do GTF head protection (helmet) – obligatory from the age of 6;
• Taekwon-Do GTF hand protectors (gloves, open palm);
• Taekwon-Do GTF foot protectors;
• Taekwon-Do GTF shin guards – obligatory from the age of 10;
• groin guard;
• mouthguard – obligatory from the age of 8;
• chest protector for women – obligatory from the age of 12;
• forearm guards – optional.

2.6. In accordance with the GTF Competition Rules, the colour of the equipment (helmet, gloves and foot protectors) must correspond to the colour of the competitor’s corner (blue or red).

2.7. In individual disciplines, no more than six competitors from each national organisation are admitted to each category.

3. Clothing

3.1. The clothing of referees must comply with the Taekwon-Do GTF rules: a dark blue club jacket (of the approved type), dark blue trousers, a white long-sleeved shirt (without additional patterns, lettering or other decoration), a dark blue tie (of the approved type) and white sports shoes.

3.2. Coaches seconding a competing athlete must wear a tracksuit and sports shoes.

3.3. Participants must have a GTF dobok in accordance with the established rules.

III. General information on the competition

1. Venue and dates

Venue: Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, “Zhashtyk Arena” sports complex, 17/7 Togolok Moldo Street.

Dates: 24–30 November 2026.

2. Competition programme

There is no weigh-in on the day of the competition.

If fewer than three athletes take part in a given category, the organisers reserve the right to merge weight and technical categories.

3. Participants and categories

In the 6–7 age group, point-stop categories (demonstration of techniques) are formed taking height and weight into account.

4. Entries

4.1. Preliminary entries of the approved form (Annex 1) must be submitted to the GTF headquarters by 20 October 2026 to the e-mail address [email protected].

4.2. Entries are accepted through the gtf.global portal until 10 November 2026. The original entry form is submitted to the athletes’ admission committee.

4.3. Teams or athletes arriving without a preliminary entry will not be admitted to the competition.

4.4. Any change to the entry during the weigh-in (change of weight, gup, dan, athlete’s details or events entered) is subject to an additional payment of USD 10 per athlete.

5. Determination of results

The winners and medallists in individual and team events are determined in accordance with the current Taekwon-Do GTF competition rules.

6. Awarding of winners and medallists

6.1. Athletes who are winners and medallists (1st, 2nd and 3rd places) in the individual events are awarded medals and diplomas of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

6.2. Additional prizes may be established by sponsors and other organisations.

IV. Financing

All expenses (travel, meals and accommodation of the participants, team representatives, coaches and referees) are covered by the sending organisations. The organisers provide free meals to all officiating referees on the competition days.

V. Entry fee

Pursuant to the decision of the GTF Presidium, the entry fee for the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship and Junior Championship is:

• 7,000 KGS — for one discipline
• 2,000 KGS — for each additional discipline

VI. Medical services

To ensure the timely provision of medical and emergency medical care, a medical team (one doctor and one nurse) is on duty in the competition hall throughout every competition day, as well as an ambulance team with a dedicated vehicle – one team on each competition day.

VII. Security of the event

In order to ensure the safe conduct of the competition, security staff are on duty at the key entry points of the venue and at the accommodation of the national teams in the hotels provided by the organisers. Stewards and other staff maintaining public order and public safety are also on duty throughout every competition day (until the end of each competition day).

VIII. Insurance of participants

Participation in the competition is possible only upon presentation of documents confirming life and health insurance against accidents for each participant; these documents are submitted to the admission committee at registration. Insurance of the participants is arranged at the expense of the sending organisations.

IX. Accreditation

A single accreditation system is provided for the participants of the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship and Junior Championship, covering the full range of organisational services for receiving delegations. Accreditation is issued for every member of a delegation (athletes, coaches, referees, representatives and accompanying persons).

Accreditation is compulsory for all participants – athletes, coaches, referees, representatives and accompanying persons. Without valid accreditation, admission to the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship and Junior Championship is not granted.

The accreditation fee includes:

• Accommodation – in the recommended “standard” category hotels (double and triple rooms): The Plaza Hotel Bishkek, B Hotel, Park Hotel Bishkek;
• Meals – breakfast and dinner on the competition days;
• Transfer – meeting and seeing-off at Manas International Airport, daily transfer on the route “hotel – Zhashtyk Arena sports complex – hotel”;
• Accreditation badge;
• Organisational and information support for the delegation throughout the event.

The single accreditation fee is USD 85 per person per day and includes all the services listed above (accommodation for 7 nights, meals (breakfast, dinner), transfer, organisational fee).

On the request of a delegation, a cultural and sightseeing programme in Bishkek and the surrounding area can additionally be arranged.
